Group exercise - fun and motivating

Group exercise is the most enjoyable and motivating form of exercise for many people. Group exercise has evolved in recent years, with other forms of group exercise joining the traditional live classes. Group exercise can now be practised anywhere and at any time, and the different forms of group exercise make it possible to exercise in your favourite classes, even abroad. Which form of group exercise suits you best: live, virtual or online?

Live group exercise classes

Live group exercise classes are group exercise at its best: you get to sweat in a group with an engaging instructor. Group exercise schedules also bring regularity to your exercise, as certain hours of the week are dedicated to group exercise.

Group exercise is addictive and inspiring because of its diversity and community spirit. The encouragement of others and doing things together is encouraging and motivates you to keep going, even if you might have stopped doing them on your own.

Virtual lessons

Virtual classes are group exercise classes where the instructor is not in the same room, but the instruction is recorded on a large virtual screen. The virtual classes include strength training, heart rate training, dance classes, bodywork, yoga and indoor cycling classes.

Virtual classes can be held in the centre's group exercise room or in a separate virtual room. The virtual class is selected from a touch screen in the room and then projected onto a large screen.

The big difference, however, is that you can work out in a virtual class on your own, at any time of the day or night - as long as the space is free. So you can arrive when it suits your schedule and choose the time you feel like it at that moment.
