Jemima, what is the e-book about?
I wanted to write a recipe book with the central theme of promoting wellbeing without dieting - by finding sustainable eating routines. I want to encourage the reader to find more inspiration to cook delicious and nutritious food that is gluten-free, protein-free, varied and natural, using as few industrially processed ingredients as possible.
Of course, there are also a few "coincidences" in the book, which I think are also part of a balanced diet. By eating according to the recipe book, I myself have lost 10 kg of weight, and all this has come as a "trade-off", so to speak, as I have found regular eating routines, making conscious choices that support my well-being, eating a variety of foods and enjoying the flavours I choose.
What kind of recipes can you find in the book?
The Experiences on a Plate recipe book contains 20 recipes: breakfasts, snacks, lunches, dinners, evening meals and indulgences. High in fibre, protein and energy, the recipes help keep your energy levels high and hunger at bay, helping you to make healthy, well-being choices every day and break free from the sugar trap.
Natural and gluten-free ingredients support metabolism and endurance without diets. The recipes use a variety of main protein sources, from plant-based proteins to meat, fish and seafood. The recipes also show the energy and nutrient content to make it easier to outline guidelines for eating to support your own goals.
Why should you get an e-prescription book and who is it particularly suitable for?
The Experiences on a Plate recipe book is for you if you want to take your alertness and energy levels to a whole new level, feel even better, boost your metabolism naturally and gluten-free, feel full, get off the white sugar hook and above all enjoy what you eat without dieting!
Healthy food is indeed also very tasty! The recipes are naturally gluten-free, so they are often suitable for people with allergies or sensitive stomachs.
The e-recipe book is easy to carry with you, and is especially handy when you're planning and buying ingredients for the grocery store. The recipe book also shows pictures of the ingredients you need, making it much easier to find them in the shop.
For personal trainers, the e-prescription book is also a handy tool for coaches, as it provides a convenient way to work out a daily and weekly meal plan together with clients.
Why did you write this book?
Ever since I was little, I've loved baking and messing around in the kitchen, coming up with different flavour combinations and recipes. In recent years, the development of recipes has naturally gone in the direction of being naturally gluten-free, additive-free, sugar-free and most importantly - delicious!
As a personal trainer, I work a lot with clients to plan meals that fit their daily lives, so this has also reinforced the need for a recipe book. It is also important for me to reinforce the idea of enjoying what you eat, because eating is a fun activity and food can bring us so much pleasure every day. This is how my recipe book got its start and inspiration.
How to strengthen the overall balance of body and mind?
The importance of nutrition for well-being and well-being cannot be overestimated. How you eat affects your mood, alertness, energy levels, concentration, performance, memory, blood pressure, muscle mass, fat mass, bones, skin, cholesterol, sugar levels, gut health, metabolism and sleep quality, among other things.
Food is part of our daily lives, which is why it is those daily choices and routines that play a huge role in our well-being. Every day we have the opportunity to provide the body with natural and nutrient-rich energy that supports and strengthens the overall balance of body and mind in an ever better way.
Regular eating habits play a huge role in overall well-being. The best eating routines are those that allow for flexibility and are not just dependent on a particular environment. For example, the goal of "choosing colourful vegetables as a source of carbohydrate for meals" can be applied at home, at work and when travelling.
To achieve a permanent eating routine, you need to start by becoming aware of what you want to change and the motivation to ask why should be strong enough to implement your chosen routine every day. And to keep things balanced, it's okay to choose occasional occasions, as long as you stick to your routine at least 80% of the time.
At its best, a routine is one that makes you feel so good that you don't want to give it up, and as you repeat and repeat, it starts to become permanent. What's more, by sticking to this wellbeing food routine, your body and mind are likely to start feeling more and more balanced too. A routine that you can put into practice will reinforce the feeling that you can make a positive contribution to your own well-being and well-being.
