I am Merja Turunen - for wellbeing and health
I am an exercise and wellbeing professional from Oulu, and I have been doing this work for almost 30 years. I guide group exercise, gym training, yoga and special groups - the goal is not perfection, but health, a functioning body and well-being in everyday life.
My qualifications include group exercise instructor, gym coach, yoga teacher and nutrition coach, as well as special group exercise instructor. I have also studied sports and well-being at the Open University of Jyväskylä. Continuous learning and holistic well-being are my passion.
For me, exercise is first and foremost a way to support health and well-being. The most important thing is that exercise feels good and brings joy - not that it is a certain kind or perfect. Everyone can be exactly who they are, I will coach you individually, safely and enthusiastically. In my workouts you can laugh, sweat, catch your breath and above all enjoy the movement.
Wellbeing comes from the little things: movement, nutrition, rest and a good mind. I'm here to help you find your own way to feel good.
